Albert Bartlett’s Hot-Well Tanks

About the project

From the end of 2024 into 2025, JS Engineering Services designed, fabricated and installed two hot-well tanks for long-term client Albert Bartlett’s, delivering a complex mechanical installation that formed a key part of the site’s steam and boiler feed system.

Each tank was fabricated from 6mm 304 stainless steel, with a working volume of 15,000 litres. The tanks were manufactured off-site before being transported and installed on a 2.2-metre-tall support frame on site.

In addition to the tank fabrication and installation, JS Engineering designed, fabricated and installed all associated pipework, including condensate return, water feed, steam feed and boiler feed pipework. The project required careful planning and coordination to manage the scale of the installation and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.

This project demonstrates the full breadth of JS Engineering’s capabilities, from precision off-site fabrication through to large-scale mechanical installation and site coordination.
